Dr Nichola Stuart

Nichola joined Oxford Brookes University in October 2013.  Prior to this she worked as a Teaching Fellow at UCL and as Senior Psychology Tutor at Dyslexia Action.  She holds a BA (Hons) in Philosophy from UCL, a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from Birkbeck College, an MA in Linguistics from UCL and a PhD Psycholinguistics from UCL.

Research Interests

Language and literacy development and developmental disorders of language and literacy (with a focus on Specific Language Impairment and Dyslexia).
